Trump now believes up to 100,000 Americans could die in Coronavirus

After his earlier estimations on Coronavirus death toll passed, US President Donald Trump now believes that as many as 100,000 Americans may die facing the pandemic. He is also confident that the US will have a vaccine for the deadly virus by the end of this year.

Pres. Trump said, “We’re going to lose anywhere from 75, 80 to 100,000 people. That’s a horrible thing,”

“I think we’re going to have a vaccine by the end of the year. The doctors would say, well you shouldn’t say that” Trump added. “I’ll say what I think... I think we’ll have a vaccine sooner than later.”

During a virtual town hall broadcast by Fox News, President said he believes the origin of Coronavirus was “a horrible mistake.” Trump added that China “didn’t want to admit it,” and that China was embarrassed by the problem and was unable to “put the fire out.”

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also believes that the virus was originated in a Chinese Laboratory in Wuhan and he said there was “a significant amount of evidence” on his speculation.

While Trump administration tries to put the blame on China for the global spread of the virus, the US government is being criticized for its own handling of the pandemic situation.
