Vietnam is winning the Coronavirus battle
Thanks to their impressive public health response to the Coronavirus pandemic, Vietnam was one of the first countries to ease the lockdown. Now, things got more positive as no new cases reported in Vietnam, going 13 straight days with no community transmissions.
Vietnam responded early to the outbreak in neighbouring China stopping flights and eventually closing the border. According to reports, they conducted more than 180,000 tests within the country.
The important thing is that people agree and obey the measures taken by the government without hesitating. Also, their self-discipline and trust in the government helped this success in the battle against the Coronavirus.
Vietnam currently has 270 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 222 recovered cases and 0 deaths. With a population of 95 million, their ratio of infections per million is among the lowest in the world calculated as 2.81.
